10 Steps to Success for New Agents

So you passed your Xcel class – What's next? Follow these steps in order.

1. Reach out to your State's Division of Insurance — provide them with your fingerprints, Xcel certificate, and your state exam passing score (you will receive that information from your testing center).
2. Wait for your National Producer Number (NPN) from your state (typically takes 2–6 weeks to issue).
3. Tell your upline ASAP your National Producer Number to start your contracting process.
4. Set up your account in SureLC — add as much information as possible.
